All garbage – household, metal, etc. must be deposited as per the direction of the Landfill Custodian. Clean wood will continue to be dumped in the current location. Bagged lawn debris will be accepted in the clean wood pile provided it is not in plastic bags. Plastic bags must be emptied and disposed of appropriately. Bagged lawn debris can be deposited in curbside carts.
Metal must be deposited in the bin and not beside. If you are dumping heavy items, ensure you have adequate help to unload. The Landfill Custodian will not assist.
Authorized Waste:
- White Goods (fridges, furnaces, dishwashers, freezers etc.) provided halocarbons are removed prior to disposal
- Small Appliances (fans, sinks, toilets, water dispensers)
- BBQ’s
- Yard & garden refuse
- Furniture
- Metal (deposited in Evraz supplied bin
- Painted Lumber
- Clean Wood
- Small scale household renovation materials
Prohibited Waste:
- Animal carcasses
- Asbestos
- Bales
- Batteries
- Bulk construction materials
- Chemical/pesticide containers
- Concrete
- Grains & lentils
- Junked vehicles
- Manure
- Electronics
- Paint/paint cans
- Used oil, filters and containers

Fees at the landfill:
Car $5
½ ton truck or utility trailer $10
½ ton truck or utility trailer with sides $15
1 ton truck or equivalent trailer $20
>1 ton – 3 ton truck or equivalent trailer $50
