Public notice is hereby given that Village of Sedley council intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning and Development Act 2007 to amend Bylaw No. 94, known as the Zoning Bylaw.
– The proposed amendment will amend the non-permitted uses of C-Commercial to include:
Auto wreckers, cement plant, aggregate plant, asphalt production facility, animal product/by-product processing plant, feed lot, pulp/paper mill, composting facilities, smelting factories
The affected land is described as M 71R01433 with a civic address of 100 Railway Avenue.
The reason for the amendment is to ensure businesses within Village limits are in line with the mission, vision and values of the Village of Sedley.
Any person may inspect the bylaw(s) at the Sedley Village Office between the hours of 9:30 am and 12 pm and 1 pm and 4 pm Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays. Copies are available at cost.
Council will hold a public hearing on April 18th at 7:00 pm at the Sedley Community Centre, 202 Broadway Street to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw amendment. Council will also consider written comments received at the meeting (or delivered to the undersigned at the municipal office before the hearing).
