More Sedley Library News

The Saskatchewan Library Trustees Association (SLTA) has initiated a petition to the provincial government to reconsider the budget cutbacks announced on March 22nd. Petition forms are available at the Sedley Branch Library, Affinity Credit Union, Post Office and at the Village Office.  Please consider signing. In addition, in support of libraries Saskatchewan residents all over the province are encouraged to stand outside their local MLA office on the same day at the same time and read a book for 15 minutes to highlight the desire to reverse the decision to severely cut library funding. The event hopes to draw attention in a quiet and peaceful manner that the citizens of Saskatchewan love their libraries.
